In part one, you will learn about some of the history of Awaken - how we started, and how our church is structured. You will also learn what it means to be a member of Awaken.

This year, we’re coming together as a church family to spread Christmas cheer and invite our community to join us for our Christmas Eve service!

Instead of our usual Wednesday night activities, we’ll gather for a special Christmas Canvassing Event. We’ll head out in groups to Port Charlotte and North Port to share invitations, pray for our neighbors, and let people know they’re welcome at Awaken this Christmas.

We’re inviting everyone — kids, adults, and our middle and high school students — to take part. The more people who come, the more homes we’ll reach! Come ready to walk, smile, and make an eternal impact in our community.

Join us for a day of blessing our community with Christmas! This year we have moved the location from the Awaken Outreach Center to Awaken Church! Hope for Christmas is Saturday, December 13. Volunteers can come for set up on Friday from 12 PM to 10 PM. On Saturday volunteers are needed from 7 AM to 6 PM. We will need additional help tearing down as well on Saturday.

This is an invite only event for families in our community who are in need. Families that are participating must be registered. If you would like to serve as part of this event, please reach out to outreach@myawaken.church or sign up by following this link:

Legacy Sunday is one of two special offerings that we take each year to support outreach and missions.

All giving on this Sunday goes to support missions for the next year. This is a Sunday where we have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and go places our feet will never touch.

On the second Sunday of each month, step 2 of Growth Track focuses on you and the particular gifts and talents that God has placed in you.

Growth Track 3.0 is the last part of our three-part process. After learning about the history of our church and discovering what gifts and talents God has placed in you, it’s time to get connected! At his event you will meet with the leaders of the ministry teams that make Awaken what it is. Finding a place to serve with a team that encourages you to use your gifts and talents builds community and builds our church!

This year, we’re coming Home for Christmas! This service, on December 23rd, is the first of our five identical Christmas services at AWAKEN. We’re so excited to be able to celebrate together in our own building and welcome so many from our church and community!

Each service will include worship, a special message from Pastor Brian, and a beautiful candlelight moment as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

Tickets are not required to attend but they will let you in early so you can have guaranteed seating with your family. Complete the form at this link to reserve tickets for your preferred service: Ticket form.

Childcare will be provided for children up to age 4. Kids ages 5 and older will join their families in the main service to experience Christmas together.
